Waterfront properties (Private) Ltd, part of John Keells Holdings PLC, are the property developers of this vast mixed-use complex which redefines Colombo’s skyline, designed by renowned Sri Lankan/British designer, engineer and artist Cecil Balmond.
The contractor, is a joint venture between Hyundai, Keangnam and Nawaloka.

JRMI’s role in this monumental private investment in Sri Lanka – which has been designed and built in accordance with British Standards – started right from the initial design concept stage. Our role has developed and grown over the years. To date three of the six buildings have been completed and are now occupied.
Jeremy Mayhew was appointed “Engineer to the Contract”, under FIDIC Red Book conditions, within the main construction contract.
This is a key and unique role within the construction contract and Jeremy has taken a major leadership role in the project.
Having a central role in this major project we have been in the driving seat guiding it from inception through to completion.
